The Cry of the Earth
By Do Fox
Ro 8:19  The creation waits in eager
expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

It seems the earth is crying,
I question, "Can this be?
What can be the problem?
Has it to do with you and me?"

It seems the earth is crying,
I can hear it in the wind,
Does pollution in our cities
Tell a tale of human sin?

The cracking of the timber
As the mountains are laid bare,
Sings a mournful song of sadness,
To a race that does not care.

It seems the earth is crying,
As the oily oceans roll,
Can we stop, and look, and listen,
As the death knells slowly toll?
