Nursing Home Ministry Report 2007 Our visits to Pierrefonds Manor, West Island Manor, and Chateau Sur Le Lac, continues to delight us. We never know who we will meet on a particular Monday. Last Monday at the Pierrefonds Manor, a little lady touched my heart. As we were singing a children's hymn, a lady who had suffered a stroke, and could not talk, was sitting in her wheelchair, and as we sang "Jesus bids us shine" she was tapping her hand to the beat of the music with a beautiful smile on her face. It touched me so much. These are only some of the things that we see in our Nursing Homes. The only problem we had last year was an unexpected snow storm that stopped us from going to the Pierrefonds Manor. They unfortunately missed out on our Christmas Carols. We felt bad about that, but had no control over the weather. We look forward to 2008, and know that as we go into these Nursing Homes, that God is always with us.
