Parish Statistical Data Report - 2007
The Parish database holds a myriad of facts, but here's the most relevant statistics for the year ending 31 December 2007.
The task of keeping track of parishioners who attend St. Mike's is an ongoing process which I enjoy. There is a continual movement of people coming to the West Island, while others move away. As of December 31st, 2007, St. Michael & All Angels had 145 families on our parish list. In 2007 we were happy to welcome 4 new families & individuals to our congregation, while we regret that we lost a few families due to out of town moves and transfers.
Newcomers are encouraged to fill out Newcomer Cards which can be found in the pews or at the back of the church, and then placed on the offering plate or handed to one of the greeters standing by the doors on a Sunday morning.
I appeal to anyone changing their address or phone number, or to anyone adding a member to their family; please pass this information on to the Parish Secretary or to one of the Wardens as quickly as possible so that our records are current. I would add that our records of birth dates, baptism dates and wedding anniversary dates is far from complete. Remember, we are not interested in your age! We record only the day and month of the event. If you would like to receive anniversary prayers, you must give us your dates.
The following is a record of our registers for the year 2007.
